Death for Dinner: Safeway, Drop Perdue’s Petaluma Poultry

As the holidays approach, please join us in denormalizing the tradition of serving animals’ mutilated bodies on plates to our loved ones and continuing our call for Safeway to cut ties with Perdue’s Petaluma Poultry under the brands, “Rocky and Rosie free range and organic chicken.” Thank you!

When: Saturday, December 14th, 1:30 pm
Where: Meeting at the intersection of Chabot Rd & College Ave in Oakland, right by Crossroads Trading Co.

Wear black clothing if possible and if you have a role on the “plate” please wear “nude” underwear if you have it or ask Susana Soto to help provide some to you in advance.
Accessibility: This action will involve a 0.3 mile walk between the meeting location and the protest location as well as standing in place for about one hour. Legal risk of this protest is relatively low.
