    If you want to learn & practice the art of public speaking in a warm and friendly setting, and develop your leadership skills -- this is the place to be! We welcome all guests and are open to new members. We would like to have you attend as a guest for at least two meetings before committing to join. This allows you to determine if our club is the best for your goals. We meet on Tuesdays from 12:05 p.m. to 12:55 p.m at 211 Main Street (the Schwab building on the southwest corner of Main and Howard – please enter through the rear doors off the common space between buildings). The meeting takes place on the 7th floor, and a club member will escort groups from the lobby up to the meeting room. Please plan to arrive 5 minutes early to check in at the security desk.     Welcome to Menlo Park Toastmasters! We are a diverse group of individuals from Menlo Park and surrounding areas all working together to improve our public speaking skills. We believe the best way to improve your public speaking is to get up in front of people and speak – each meeting, everyone has an opportunity to speak in front of the entire club. The San Mateo Toastmasters Club is one of the largest public speaking clubs in the Bay Area. We are a group of over 50 men and women who gather each Tuesday evening in a friendly and supportive environment to practice public speaking. The members' ages range from about 18 to 75 years young. We are part of a worldwide public speaking and leadership organization; Toastmasters International. The Club is open to anyone who shares our members' interest in developing communication and leadership skills and who is willing to support other members' efforts.
