Anyone can easily pick up SHADOWDARK RPG. It is based on the core mechanics of 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons and has an old-school style of play.

Thieves' World: In the gilded halls of the Rankan capital city of Sovereignty, secrets are the primary currency. Recently, things have gotten more dangerous with the hidden evil, the Vashanka. Having emerged from the depths, this entity is playing a deadly game of social leapfrog.
The party is tasked with a delicate operation:
Track the Contagion: Identify which nobles are "carrying" the presence of Vashanka.
Navigate the Hierarchy: Move through the Inner Walled City without alerting the Emperor’s Guard.
The Clock is Ticking: If the Vashanka reaches the Emperor, the empire doesn't just fall—it becomes a puppet for something much worse.
