TTRPG Bootcamp: GameMasters' Workshop

Welcome to our first all day hands-on workshop dedicated to GameMasters!

Who is this for?

• Anyone who runs tabletop RPGs. All experience levels welcome, but we encourage having run at least one RPG session to get the most from this event.

What will I be doing?

• Expect fast-paced brief writing prompts, crafting a couple props, low-pressure improv exercises and discussion!
• Some activities will be group-based.

What will we NOT be doing?

• This is not a scenario or module building workshop. The presentations and exercises are modular tools and techniques for you to use in your own prep later!
• This is not an introduction to becoming a GameMaster. New GMs are encouraged to join, but we assume you have run at least one session of some RPG before.
• This is not D&D 5e specific. All activities CAN be applied to 5e and some will include 5e materials, but this is designed to be system agnostic.

What will I get out of it?

• This event is as much about inspiring and invigorating our GMs as it is about learning new skills!
• Rather than focusing deeply on one or two topics, we will be quickly touching on a large menu of ideas and activities.

Food?

• Although we will provide light snacks throughout the event, there will also be a 30-min lunch break in the middle.
• Please bring/arrange your own lunch as necessary.

$5 Cover Charge/Payment Details:

• Will be used to cover snacks and material costs. Anything leftover will go directly to the annual Meetup fee.
• Once you RSVP as "Going," you will have 7 days to pay $5 to secure your seat or be removed from the RSVP to allow anyone Waitlisted. The last day to pay will be July 15.
• When sending payment, note your Meetup Name to avoid any confusion, delay, or removal from "Going."
• Please use regular transfers and not sales or we will be charged a transaction fee.
