Realist painter and draftsman Clark Gussin creates works that are uncanny in their exquisite detail. Employing classical techniques, Gussin renders pencil drawings of the most intimate realism. Everyday scenes and objects, such as a coat hanging on a nail, trick the eye in his trompe l'oeil drawings, while his finely painted landscapes capture the pictorial minutia of the scene while also evoking the essence of memory to the scenes.
