Welcome my fellow travellers! We are looking to provide you with options to travel to amazing places (local & international) with me & my fellow like-minded guides. The trips would involve a mash-up of urban exploring and comfortable nature trails & hikes planned & designed by us to ensure that you have a great time & have a more holistic experience.
There is also a strong emphasis on sustainable travel and hence a strong preference to use trains & buses (where possible).

WHY GO?
Marrakech boasts a unique culture, deep history, special charm, and delicious cuisine. Mosques, souks, mountains, and the vast beautiful desert invite you to witness natural beauty like never before.
Lively markets, desert treks, hiking to remote waterfalls, and beach days are just some of the wonders Morocco has in store. You can surf on the coast, sip some mint tea in the medina, and explore the ruins scattered throughout its many cities. Berber villages, eating with the locals, and walking around the city learning about the rich history of Morocco while the views of the splendid gardens keep you company.
### WHAT ARE THE HIGHLIGHTS?- YSL Gardens: The Majorelle Garden, or Jardin Bou Saf, is a meticulously planned twelve-acre botanical garden, created in the 1920s and 1930s by French painter Jacques Majorelle (1886–1962), and subsequently owned by fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent.
- Bahia Palace: A stunning example of Moroccan architecture and design. Built in the late 19th century, it is a sprawling complex of gardens, courtyards, and rooms filled with intricate details and vibrant colors.
- Souk: we will explore the markets (souks) of the old town and learn the intricacies of bartering to get the best deal. We will finish the evening with a lavish dinner of traditional Moroccan cuisine, complete with a performance by belly dancers.
- Ouarzazate ‘Hollywood of Africa’: Ouarzazate, nicknamed "The door of the Sahara desert", is a famous town located 200 km to the southeast of Marrakech. Before we arrive at Ouarzazate, we pass by Aït Benhaddou which is a walled city and one of the most famous locations in all of Morocco. Aït Benhaddou is known as the location of numerous film shoots: Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy, and the TV show Game of Thrones.
- Ourika Valley and Atlas Mountain: an excursion to the Ourika Valley and the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Meeting a Berber family’s house, where we will visit inside their home and have tea with the family members
- Discovering picturesque towns & villages on the hiking trail: a long hike to see the beautiful Ourika Valley waterfalls, followed by an included lunch by the riverside.
- Sunset camel ride in the desert: Explore the Palmeraie of Marrakech on a camel ride in the vast desert.

How to get to Marakesh?
- Flying is the fastest way to reach Marakesh airport, with direct flights from most European cities.
What is not included:
- Taxi/bus ride from & to Marrakesh airport to accommodation.
- Lunch & most dinners.
- Entry to tourist attractions like Bahia Palace, mosques, etc
- Visa fee(based on passport)
- Hamam bath and massages

- Discover Triberg (Cuckoo Clock Capital): Known as the unofficial cuckoo capital of the world and also houses the world’s largest cuckoo clock. Cuckoo clocks are an important part of Black Forest history, and they have been made in the region since the 1700s. Besides that, Triberg is also famous for one of Germany's highest waterfalls with the area around the entrance to the waterfalls being reminiscent of Disneyland.
- Discover Freiburg: A vibrant city in southwest Germany’s Black Forest, is known for its temperate climate and reconstructed medieval old town, crisscrossed by picturesque brooks (bächle). Situated in the heart of the major Baden wine-growing region, Freiburg also serves as the primary tourist entry point to the scenic beauty of the Black Forest.
- Feldbergsteig: A hiking trail with many superlatives! Stunning views and impressive nature make this path exciting and varied from the first to the last step. You are led over pastures, through steep slopes and forests. Feldberg at 1,493 meters (4,898 ft) is the highest point in the Black Forest, the highest point in Germany outside of the Alps, offering vast panoramic views – you can even see Mont Blanc during good weather. the crowning glory with being the cherry on top.
- Feldsee : The Feldsee, also known as the Feldbergsee, is located in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park. A circular path around the lake shows interested hikers all sides of the cirque lake, known as the dark eye.
- Panoramic Trail (Baden-Baden - time perrmitting): Varied and exciting trail that takes you along Castle ruins from the Middle Ages, hidden forest paths and the large rock pillars of the Battert. The cliffs always promise a fantastic view over the city of Baden-Baden through to Alsace.
- Discover Baden Baden: Considered one of the most beautiful spots in Black Forest, this 19th–century town is filled with striking french architecture and old-world luxury. Baden-Baden is part of the transnational UNESCO World Heritage Site under the name "Great Spa Towns of Europe", because of its famous spas and architecture that exemplifies the popularity of spa towns in Europe in the 18th through 20th centuries.
- Caracalla Thermal Baths in Baden-Baden (optional): Named after the Roman Emperor Caracalla who came to Baden-Baden in the third century to soak his arthritis away, Caracalla is the modern response to a traditional bathing culture - an experience of all senses.
- Schwarzwald Bahn: Schwarzwald Bahn (Black Forest railway) passes directly across the Black Forest, through spectacular scenery, and passing through numerous tunnels and viaducts.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS?
- Hike to Pico Ruivo: the trail from Pico do Arieiro (Madeira´s 3rd highest peak) to Poco Ruivo passes through some of the most beautiful and rugged scenery on the island, including lush vegetation, unique rock formations, and stunning waterfalls. The summit of Pico Ruivo is accessible by foot, and there are two challenging hiking trails which climb through the stunning mountainous scenery of Madeira's interior. The summit offers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the Atlantic Ocean
- Explore Funchal: Funchal is the capital city of the island of Madeira, Portugal and is located on the southern coast of the island of Madeira and is surrounded by hills and mountains. The city was founded in the early 15th century and has a rich history that is reflected in its architecture and culture.
- Whale watching (optional): the waters surrounding Madeira are home to a diverse range of marine life, including several species of whales and dolphins, making it an ideal location for whale watching. Madeira is one of the few places in the world where you can see the rare and endangered Spotted and Striped Dolphins, as well as Sperm Whales and several species of Beaked Whales.
- Discovering Ponta de São Lourenço (PR 8): The unique rock formations of Ponta de São Lourenço (also called dragon tail) are a result of volcanic activity millions of years ago. Ponta de São Lourenço is a beautiful nature reserve located on the eastern tip of the island of Madeira, Portugal. It is known for its rugged cliffs, unique rock formations and diverse plant life. Hikers can also enjoy the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the neighbouring island of Porto Santo. Additionally, it is considered one of the most beautiful and unspoiled places on the island.
- Visiting Monte Palace Madeira: the Monte Palace Madeira features beautifully landscaped gardens that are home to a diverse collection of plants and trees from around the world. The gardens offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. The Monte Palace Madeira is home to a collection of African and Indo-Portuguese art and artifacts, as well as a museum that explores the history and culture of Madeira. The palace itself has a rich history that dates back to the 18th century when it was built as a private residence. The palace has been restored and renovated over the years and is now a cultural center that celebrates the history and heritage of Madeira.
