Join us for Sat. 7 am, Tai Chi Gung outdoor classes on the grass by the stream in Mill Spring Park, Jonesborough, near the Gazebo. This is a moving meditation. You'll be able to feel more peaceful and relaxed by the end of class.
Class ends just before the farmers market starts. If it rains we can get under the gazebo for class or the porch of the Story Telling Resource House.
- We start with a gentle warm-up and then onto the four basic standing exercises
- These gentle standing exercises include conscious breathing and slow fluid movements
- The exercises promote a calm mind and elevate a sense of well-being and aliveness
- Great for increasing balance both in body and mind
Wear regular clothes, flat shoes, or bare feet to maximize connection with the earth and nature’s energy.
