Movie Night at City Buffet

Please join us on Thursday, August 6th, for a special evening of great food and entertainment. You'll see a pair of classic mystery films, featuring two of the most iconic characters in the history of detective fiction.

Up first (at 6:00 PM) we'll show the 1938 20th Century Fox mystery / detective film, MR. MOTO TAKES A CHANCE, which starred Peter Lorre, Rochelle Hudson, Robert Kent, J. Edward Bromberg, Chick Chandler and Victor Sen Yung. The film was directed by Norman Foster and was based on the character created by John P. Marquand.
In Cambodia, Mr. Moto poses as an archaeologist to help foil an ant-govenment conspiracy.
Next Up, at approximately 7:15 is the 2010 series of French detective / mystery telefilms, AGATHA CHRISTIE'S CRIMINAL GAMES, which starred Blandine Bellavoir, Samuel Labarthe, Elodie Frenck and Dominique Thomas.
Agatha Christie's classic stories get a French make-over flair in these wonderful, witty TV mysteries.

The restaurant is called; the CITY BUFFET.

There is a private room at the back of the restaurant, so we won't be disturbed by other diners. We will have short breaks throughout the evening, so attendees can restock their plates.

The restaurant is located at: 100 Live Oaks Blvd Casselberry, FL 32707….. near the intersection of 436 and 17-92.

In addition to the films and food, there may be other surprises, including trivia contests and free prizes. There is no charge for the movies, you just pay for your dinner. I hope you can make it!
