Movie Night at City Buffet

Please join us on Thursday, September 3rd, for a special evening of great food and entertainment. You'll see a pair of classic mystery / comedy programs.

Up first (at 6:00 PM) we'll show an episode of the highly underrated TV crime / comedy program, BURKE'S LAW, which starred Gene Barry as a millionaire detective. This witty and entertaining series was known for having numerous famous guest stars in each episode.

Next Up, at approximately 7:15 is the 1940 MGM / British mystery / comedy film, HAUNTED HONEYMOON, which starred Robert Montgomery, Constance Cummings, Leslie Banks, Seymour Hicks, Robert Newton and Googie. The film was directed by Arthur B. Woods and was based on a Lord Peter Wimsey novel, written by Dorothy L. Sayers. When a pair of newlyweds -- a gentleman sleuth (Robert Montgomery) and his lovely mystery-writing bride (Constance Cummings) -- move into their new home, instead of wedded bliss they find a dead body.

The restaurant is called; the CITY BUFFET.

There is a private room at the back of the restaurant, so we won't be disturbed by other diners. We will have short breaks throughout the evening, so attendees can restock their plates.

The restaurant is located at: 100 Live Oaks Blvd Casselberry, FL 32707….. near the intersection of 436 and 17-92.

In addition to the films and food, there may be other surprises, including trivia contests and free prizes. There is no charge for the movies, you just pay for your dinner. I hope you can make it!
