About us

We’re delighted to have you join the Elastic global community! This group is for anyone interested in making data usable in real-time and at scale for use cases like security, observability, enterprise search, and many more, using our Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, and Beats products (https://www.elastic.co/products/).

Speak at a meetup: The Community wants to hear from you! Present about your Elastic Stack stories, be it a 5-15 minute lightning talk or a detailed 25-45 minute technical presentation with Q&A. Our Speaker Guide is full of tips on giving a stellar presentation. If you’re interested, visit the elastic/call-for-meetups repo or send us an email at meetups@elastic.co.

Elastic Community Youtube Channel: All meetups are recorded and uploaded to YouTube within a few days of the event. Subscribe here to stay up to date!

Local community organizers wanted!

We’re always on the lookout for committed local organizers who will help the group thrive. If this sounds interesting to you, the Community Team at Elastic is here to support you! Email us at meetups@elastic.co.

We know that people enjoy giving back to the communities they care about, so we’ve created an Organizer guide to help you get started on your path to leading an Elastic user group.

  • Elastic and AWS Hack Night

    Elastic and AWS Hack Night

33 New Montgomery St, San Francisco, Ca, US

The World Cup is in the Bay Area, let's build something with all that data.

    Register here: https://luma.com/aws-elastic-hacknight

Come hang out with Elastic and AWS for a night of hacking using real soccer datasets. Think player stats, match history, team performance, fan sentiment, news, highlights, and much more.

You'll use Elasticsearch to store all that soccer data and for the search and analytics side, along with AWS Bedrock for AI inference so you can work with different models. Folks from both teams will be around if you get stuck or just want to talk shop.

Come whether you're a developer, a data person, someone who just really loves soccer, or all of the above. Beginners are genuinely welcome.

There'll be food, drinks, good company, and the World Cup playing in the background the whole time. Best projects walk away with prizes. 🏆

Just bring your laptop and your ideas. See you there.

    How it Works:

    • 5:00pm — Doors open. Come in, grab food and drinks, meet people, and settle in.
    • 5:30pm — Kickoff + instructions.
    • 5:45pm — Build time. Pick something and make it.
    • Technical? Great.
    • Non-technical? Also great. We’ll help you get set up with all the tools you need.
    • 8:00pmShow & tell. Share what you built with the room no matter how finished it is. Afterwards we'll award the top 3 projects.
