Yet just a few months later, those same Americans believed independence was worth fighting for. Historian Joyce Haworth has the story of the blunders of a king, the persuasiveness of an essay, and the destruction of warfare.

- Death CafeElmhurst Public Library, Elmhurst, IL
For many, death can be an uncomfortable topic. A Death Cafe is a group-directed discussion of death in a safe, confidential setting where you can share experiences and ideas on fears about end-of-life issues. Its objective is to increase awareness of death and help people make the most of their finite lives. Please note this is not a grief support group or counseling session. Beverages and snacks are provided.
