Both meditation, yoga and massage are ways to get in touch with yourself, to feel relaxed and calm. Your own body is our greatest gift and an important source of wisdom, the place where we come home. Experiencing peace, silence and peace within yourself helps you to become a happier person. You experience your own depth, your own compass, which gives you direction to your life. And you are more present in contact with others.
This group is intended for initiatives focused on meditation, yoga, massage, touch, body awareness and other forms of mindfulness and wellbeing. Everyone is welcome, your gender, mother tongue, cultural background and sexual orientation play no role.

Zowel meditatie, massage als yoga zijn manieren om in contact te komen met jezelf, met je lichaam, om je te ontspannen en je rustig te voelen. Je eigen lichaam is ons grootste geschenk en een belangrijke bron van wijsheid, de plek waar we thuis komen. Het ervaren van vrede, stilte en rust in jezelf helpt je om een gelukkiger mens te worden. Je ervaart je eigen diepte, je eigen kompas, die je richting geeft aan je leven. En in het contact met anderen ben je meer aanwezig.

The OSHO No Dimensions Meditation will get yourself completely centered while you experience being part of the wholeness of the universe. This active movement meditation is based on Sufi techniques, further developed and expanded by Osho. Using the breath and a series of coordinated body movements followed by whirling, your energy becomes centered. You can watch the mind while the body is moving in all directions, your center is unmoving and still.This online session is perfect for:
- People dying experience stress, anxiety or tension
- Those looking for more clarity and focus
- Anyone who wants to increase his or her potential and want to work on increasing your consciousness
Active meditations from OSHO
Every month Tijs Breuer organizes an active meditation. Why? Many of the traditional meditative techniques involve sitting still. For most of us, the reduced stress in our body and mind makes silence very difficult. OSHO Active Meditations are designed to enable us to consciously express, experience and release painful feelings and emotions. And to bring the body back into relaxed harmony. Then we find inner silence and we can begin the journey within.What you need:
- Access to the internet (computer, tablet or smartphone)
- A comfortable place where you can move
- Clothing in which you can move freely
- A yogamat to sit on and move around (optional)

Elke maand organiseert Tijs Breuer een actieve meditatie. Waarom? Veel van de traditionele meditatieve technieken vereisen dat je stilzit. Voor de meesten van ons maakt de opgebouwde stress in ons lichaam en geest stilte erg moeilijk. Osho Actieve Meditaties zijn ontworpen om ons in staat te stellen onderdrukte gevoelens en emoties bewust uit te drukken, te ervaren en los te laten. En om het lichaam weer in een ontspannen harmonie te brengen. Dan vinden we innerlijke stilte en kan de reis naar binnen beginnen.Wat je nodig hebt:

This Spring you can start your Tuesday morning with a short meditation. Let's create a moment of mindfulness, to find stillness and inner peace together. Every time will be different. Sometimes we will focus on the breath, the heartbeat, bodily sensations, or energy flow. We can also be inspired by a mantra, a poem or just listen to the silence. You can join online or on the spot, in Tienhoven (Utrecht). The guidance is donation-based.
Everybody is welcome, no matter what is your gender, age, body type or background. These weekly morning meditations are inspired by our Sangha group and some of the members might participate as well, so here is space for co-creation. So if you would like to lead a meditation and guide the other participants, feel free to contact Tijs. Before the meditation, we will quickly say hello and check in with each other, to hear how we feel this morning.

Breathing meditation
Connecting to your breath can damp down stress and open a door to a more healthy and mindful lifestyle. One of the easiest ways to reduce stress is to simply focus your attention on your breath. You'll notice an immediate sense of relaxation that could help protect your health over time. There are many forms of breathing meditation where you consciously change the rhythm, speed or depth of your breath.Body scan
The body scan is a mindfulness meditation practice involving scanning your body for pain, tension, or anything out of the ordinary. It can help you feel more connected to your physical and emotional self. This can be a gateway to be more accepting and appreciating what comes in life.Chakra meditation
Chakra meditation is a type of meditation that focuses on balancing and opening the body's energy centres. Chakras are energy centers in the body, not physically tangible but believed to influence various aspects of your being. There are seven chakras, all located along the spine. This meditation aims to bring greater awareness to the spiritual and energetic body, potentially bringing about feelings of well-being and inner peace.Silent meditation
The nature of your mind is to produce thought. Like the ocean, it has its own rhythm and flow. It should be respected, not feared or fought against. Once you stop fighting against your thoughts and allow it to flow naturally, you can begin to retreat into the depths of your inner self beyond the chaos and distractions.Metta
Loving-kindness meditation is an expression of what you wish most deeply for yourself, not just for today, but in an enduring way. The meditation is simple phrases that are big enough and general enough that you can wish them for all beings everywhere. Classical phrases are things like, “May I live in safety. May I be happy. May I be healthy. May I live with ease.” You can also choose phrases that resonate for you, it does not have to be these specific phrases. - Vinyasa Flow Yoga with ChristianZensaties, Amsterdam, NH€15.00

Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic and fun yoga style, with a variety of postures (asanas) to strengthen the body and the mind. Vinyasa means 'connection of movement and breath'. Through the use of creative sequences of asanas, Christian will prepare you for more advanced postures like arm balances, hip openers and backbends.
Christian works as a general practitioner, yoga teacher in ashtanga and vinyasa yoga, and masseur. He enjoys sharing his insights about and from yoga with others, in group classes and 1-on-1 settings. Besides teaching the practical aspects of yoga, he also likes to study and debate about yoga philosophy and its implications for our daily life.
This class is for students of all levels and genders.
Feel free to bring your own yoga mat. If you don’t have one: there are yoga mats in the studio.
