About us

Have you done some work on yourself—therapy, coaching, a lot of books, or just getting thoroughly humbled by life—and now find yourself wanting friendships with a little more depth?

Maybe you've noticed that when something big happens in your life, you're hoping for a conversation... and instead you get, "Man, that sucks. Let me know if there's anything I can do." (They mean well. They just don't know what to do.)

Or maybe you've realized some of your old friendships just don't fit the person you've become. Nobody's the bad guy—sometimes people simply grow in different directions.

If that sounds familiar, welcome.

This is basically a "make new friends" group, but with the hope that some of those friends eventually become your favorite people. The kind of friends who don't disappear when conversations get real, but also don't make every hangout feel like a therapy session.

You don't have to have been to therapy, but it helps if you've done some kind of work on yourself and value honest communication, curiosity, accountability, and emotional maturity. Nobody here has it all figured out—we're just trying to be a little better than we were yesterday.

We'll keep the events low-pressure: happy hours, coffee, park hangs, game nights, hikes, and whatever else sounds fun. The activity is just the excuse. The real goal is finding your people.

Because making friends as an adult is hard. Making really good friends is even harder. Let's fix that.
