**For Issue Holder (Client) Booking £175:**
If you wish to attend as an Issue Holder at this workshop and have your own Constellation done please email your request to: [ih@londonconstellations.uk](http://ih@londonconstellations.uk/)
Read comments of workshop participants here: [https://bit.ly/33Asprs](https://bit.ly/33Asprs)
**WHAT ARE SYSTEMIC CONSTELLATIONS?**
The Systemic Constellations method is a unique therapeutic process of exploration of the forces that move us in life. Such forces are often appearing as difficulties or a sense of being 'stuck' in life, affecting our behaviour, relationships, career, health/wellbeing, or even financial circumstances. This method provides a three-dimensional āmapā of oneās life as it is at present. It is a simple yet powerful way to explore entanglements and blockages in our personal life and our family history. The method brings awareness and clarity into personal challenges by focusing the client on the root cause of such difficulties. Constellations provide an opening for a positive life shift and present ways for deep healing processes to occur.
**WHAT HAPPENS IN A CONSTELLATION SESSION?**
In Constellations work the āclientā is referred to as the āIssue Holderā.
The method uses workshop participants as āRepresentativesā to stand in for key people in the clientās life such as family members, colleagues, partners, ex-partners, etc., sometimes āabstractā concepts such as an emotion, country of origin, religion, or destiny are also represented. All participants are invited to take part as Representatives. Workshop participants often report (see reviews: [https://bit.ly/33Asprs](https://bit.ly/33Asprs)) experiencing profound insights into their own lives by simply witnessing the process, regardless of how they choose to take part.
**WHY DOES THIS WORK?**
Scientific research shows that the experiences of your ancestors can determine your behaviour today and affect future generations.\*\* Recent scientific research into DNA reveals that a component named epigenetics is embedding the effect of a traumatic experience by altering the genetic structure. It means that some of our behaviour patterns can be attributed to traumatic events in our family history. This notion has always been one of the guiding principles of Systemic / Constellations Therapy, a form of work that is dedicated to exposing and dealing with issues emerging from our family system.
*āIt is only now that science is catching up with what is evident in Systemic Constellations work and visible in every one of our therapy sessions; trauma in the family history directly affects future generations' behaviour"* Illi Adato MD
Our group provides a safe space where deep personal work is done and where maintaining confidentiality and respect for each other's privacy is paramount.

Pub Social & Live Talk: When Does Personality Rigidity Become a Disorder?
The London MBTI Meetup is back!
Calling all those with an interest in personality, Jung's psychological types and the Myers-Briggs MBTI.
Join us for a pub social and live talk in a lovely traditional pub venue.
Expect interesting conversations on topics of shared interest.
Whether you are new to type theory or a long time professional, all welcome, no particular knowledge or expertise required.
Jungian Analyst-in-training and business consultant Nick Toko will give a live talk / presentation including some slides at around 7pm for 20 mins. The topic will be 'When Does Personality Rigidity Become a Disorder?'
He will explore some of the differences between healthy adaptable personality and the more extreme and rigid presentations that might arise in a clinical setting.
Myself (Richard: a professional coach with an MSc in business psychology and many personality assessment qualifications), will be there to welcome, host and introduce people.
The venue is just 8 mins walk from Farringdon Station (multiple rail and tube lines) or 6 mins walk from Chancery Lane (Central Line). We will be in the upstairs room.
I've set the time 6-10pm so people can come straight from work in London OR come along later after going home or travelling into London.
No need to be there for the whole time.
Please RSVP, and keep it up to date.
Make the commitment to turn up, it will be fun!

### *Psychedelic Speed-friending and Psychedelic Storytelling*
**About the night**
**Psychedelic Speed-friending**: sweet conversation, friend-making and (maybe?) finding your future lover! You can drop the small talk and ask the questions you REALLY want to ask. Taking inspiration from the [36 Questions to Intimacy](https://36questionsinlove.com/) and The School of Life's '100 Questions,' this evening gives you a menu of profound, intriguing, and spicy questions designed to inspire authenticity and meaningful connection with those around you.Youāll be guided through playful icebreakers and a series of 10-minute one-on-one conversations with different people throughout the evening, wrapping up with free-flowing socializing.Youāll leave here with a fresh perspective on connection, some fun stories, and maybe even the beginning of something special.
**Psychedelic Storytelling:** this is becoming a must for our monthly socials. There will be the opportunity for all of us to share our psychedelic stories - the weird, the tricky and the downright wonderful. This part of the evening will be open-mic style and we will have a sign-up sheet to add your name to the list of storytellers. Your stories should be no more than 5 minutes and there's no need to rehearse what to say or come particularly prepared - often the best stories are told off-the-cuff and from the heart!
**A Beautiful Psychedelic Community:** Get access to our wonderful community coalescing around all things fungi. Many people at our socials have become life-long friends. Most of our members come alone, this is a safe and welcoming space for everyone, no matter your age, sexuality, background, gender, ethnicity or nationality. Fungi know no boundaries, which is the ethos we bring to our socials.
**Delicious Food and Drink:** Indulge in the mouthwatering plant-based offerings at Love Shack, where creativity extends to the kitchen. Their menu features delicious, sustainably sourced dishes and drinks crafted to nourish the body and delight the senses. Itās the perfect accompaniment to an evening of artistic exploration.

The Quiet-ish ADHD Social | Small Group | Low Battery Laughs & Chat
This is a smallish-group, quiet-ish meetup for ADHD brains who want to connect with their tribe without their nervous system going, 'Aiiight, I'm outta here!'
Everyone welcome. You don't need a diagnosis, you don't even need ADHD.
Weāre meeting at **Picturehouse Central - upstairs cafe** (Piccadilly) because itās one of those places where you can actually hear yourself think. Mostly. This is more of a tea/coffee and cake kinda venue. Sorry, booze hounds!
**The environment is**: relaxed, validating, welcoming
It won't be like whispering to each other at the back of the class, more less sensory Armageddon.
**What to expect**
A small group (human-scale, not āwho are all these peopleā scale).
A quiet-ish venue where you donāt have to shout your personality into existence.
Conversation that can be normal (well, probably far from normal š
. There is no need to worry about trying to fit in, no need to mask.
A soft landing. Come late, ease in, do a gentle hello, no oneās timing you.
Low-pressure hanging out. If you want to chat, great. If you want to sit and decompress near other people, also great.
**The unofficial theme**
How to be social without being assaulted by:
fluorescent lighting
overlapping conversations
surprise music
that one table doing a full volume podcast recording next to you.
**Important Note:**
If you cannot make it, please put 'Can't go'. This ensures there's space for others who want to attend š
ā------------------------------------------------------
Boundaries (quick, clear, important)
Yay!-DHD is a consent-led space. Some people are chatty, some are quiet, some are pacing themselves. Please donāt push for personal details, contact info, or continued connection if someone isnāt offering it. This isnāt a dating event.

Learning to Be Kind to Yourself: mindfulness and self-compassion for gay men
An **8-week Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) course** \- take a deeper\, more sustained exploration of how mindfulness can support mental health\, wellbeing\, and everyday life\.
MBCT offers a practical and compassionate approach to working with stress, anxiety, low mood, and self-critical thinking. Rather than trying to āfixā our thoughts or emotions, the course helps us develop a different relationship with them ā one grounded in awareness, kindness, and choice.
This 8-week MBCT course is designed for gay men who want a grounded, practical way to work with stress, anxiety, low mood, self-criticism, or a sense of always having to āhold it togetherā. Join us in a structured, supportive journey into mindfulness, self-care, and emotional resilience.
Many gay men grow up adapting to environments where it wasnāt always safe to be fully ourselves. Over time, this can shape how we relate to our thoughts, bodies, emotions, and relationships ā often leading to vigilance, comparison, shame, or feeling disconnected even when surrounded by others.
This course offers a compassionate, evidence-based way of meeting these patterns with awareness and kindness, rather than self-judgement or self-improvement pressure.
āThis course gave me tools to stop being overwhelmed by my thoughts and emotions. Itās the single most impactful thing Iāve done for my mental health.ā ā Marie

[BOOK AUTUMN COURSE](https://bookwhen.com/evolvingminds#focus=ev-svamz-20261007190000)
**How the course works**
We meet in a small, closed group of up to 14 gay men, allowing trust, continuity, and depth to develop over time. Once the course begins, no new members join. The group format is an important part of the learning ā many participants find that practising alongside other gay men brings a sense of ease, recognition, and belonging.
Learning unfolds through guided meditation, gentle movement, reflection, and shared inquiry. We learn from the practices, and from one another.
Unlike drop-in mindfulness sessions, this course follows a clear, progressive structure, with each week building on the last. By the end of the eight weeks, youāll have a personal toolkit of practices you can draw on in everyday life ā especially during moments of stress, self-criticism, or emotional overwhelm.
**What youāll explore:**
* Becoming more present through the body and senses
* Working skillfully with intrusive or self-critical thoughts
* Developing a kinder, more supportive inner voice
* Turning towards difficulty rather than fighting or avoiding it
* Living more fully in the present moment
* Cultivating steadiness, ease, and emotional resilience
**Core practices include:**
* Body scan
* Mindfulness of breath and body
* Loving-kindness
* Compassion and self-acceptance
(Many familiar from the Monday group, explored in greater depth.)
**Is this course right for you?**
This course may be especially supportive if you:
* Feel stressed, anxious, low, or emotionally overwhelmed
* Notice strong self-criticism or pressure to perform
* Want a mindfulness course that feels human, grounded, and relational
* Value practising in a group of other gay men
* Are looking for tools you can actually use in daily life
No previous meditation experience is required.
The course is based on the internationally recognised MBCT programme developed at Oxford University, taught here with a compassion-centred, trauma-aware approach, and paced to support safety and integration. There is no requirement to āshareā beyond what feels right for you.

In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
This is an in-person meeting. At this meeting you will get answers to depression and anxiety. Find out the source of them and how to get rid of them.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like anxiety, depression, unhappiness, loneliness, hopelessness, anger, fear, or feelings of irritation donāt just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not due to a chemical imbalance in your brain from some nebulous chemical reaction "by chance".
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.

Itās time to take control of your mental health. How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind. Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself.
Have you ever suffered from a traumatic experience, a deep loss or been through a painful breakup? Has your ability to communicate suffered as a result? And after that, even though you "moved on" did you find that things were never quite the same? Have you ever looked at childhood photos, or reminisced your early life and wondered where that happiness and spark went?
Are your emotions out of your own control? Have you ever felt, even if you arenāt aware of it, that possibly you are getting in your own way of your happiness and success? How does this affect your self-confidence?
Find out what is at the root of all stress, anxiety, depression and self-doubt. Find out how and why you hold yourself back from achieving your goals and having the life you have dreamed of. As soon as you learn what is at the root of these unwanted conditions, youāll see it is something you can DO something about. You will not be labeled or categorized at this MeetUp.

Want to Truly Heal from Emotional Trauma?
Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few.
How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again.
So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind? In this meeting, you will learn a technique to help you with that.
Come join us! Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is created by the Dianetics and Scientology life improvement center.
