- Meditation and Yoga Retreat (Oceanside, CA)Mission San Luis Rey, Oceanside, CA$1,650.00
Do you have the heartfelt desire to discover the peace that is beyond all understanding? To realize unchanging well-being and clarity amidst the ever-changing movements of your body, mind, senses, and world? To fully experience radical acceptance that calls you to be fully awake and alive?
Join Richard Miller and Ford Peck for this six-day retreat where you will engage in time-tested inquiries that support sincere honesty, deep curiosity, and passionate self-inquiry. Each inquiry offered during retreat can be likened to a stepping stone that supports seeing through and releasing the habitual patterns that can occlude realizing your essential nondual presence. With the release of each constriction you move ever-more deeply into embodying your true essence that is love itself, incarnate, that brings clarity, confidence, and the ability to meet each moment with skillful actions at all levels of body, mind, and spirit. While awakening is independent of technique, contemplative self-inquiry supports authentic realization of your presence-essence that lies beyond all sense of separation.
Silence is precious and nourishes inner reflection, while social interaction grows our ability to integrate the nondual teachings into daily life. Retreat will provide both periods of group silence and opportunities for social interaction around the teachings. The retreat meditation hall will always remain in silence, and those who wish to remain in silence elsewhere during retreat will be offered “Loving Silence” badges so others can respect their desire for maintaining silent self-reflection. Those joining the retreat from home will be encouraged to explore periods of silence during their daily schedule.
Days will offer periods of BodySensing, BreathSensing, and iRest Yoga Nidra to enhance the ability to recognize and release restrictive emotional and cognitive patterns, as well as silent and guided sitting and walking meditation for self-reflection, contemplative self-inquiry, and intimate dialogue.

Ashtanga Yoga is the traditional basis for much of modern vinyasa yoga. Each sequence (called a series) is a progression of postures linked with breath. You'll recognize many aspects of the practice but this workshop introduces concepts that often get overlooked in "power yoga" such as bandhas, dristhi, and ujjayi breath.
In this progressive course, we start at the very beginning with yogic philosophy, breath work, sun salutations, and standing poses. Each session builds upon the foundations so you can comfortably and safely grow both your strength and stamina. We cover most of the sitting postures from Primary Series, as well as the finishing postures that are uniform throughout all the series.
Participants will:
- Experience the physical benefits of a strong and balanced body
- Feel calm and focused
- Learn how to modify postures to fit individual needsUnderstand the traditions of the Ashtanga Vinyasa system
- Gain the foundations necessary to begin a regular Ashtanga practice
This workshop series is open to anyone new to yoga, seasoned yogis looking to explore Ashtanga and Ashtanga practitioners that are looking to refresh their practice.
Schedule: this is a 3 part series. To get the most benefit out of the course we recommend you commit to attending all three workshops.
Dates: Saturday May 11, 18, and 25th @ 2-3:15pm (mark your calendar for all 3 dates)Tickets: $75 for all 3 classes

- Crystal Bowl Sound Bath with Sonia RodriguezSoul of Yoga, Encinitas, CA$35.00
Welcome to a place where you can find solace away from day-to-day stress and anxiety. A place where you can relax, giving your mind, body, and soul space to breathe deeply; allowing you to reconnect with your authentic self. A place where those who have the busiest of minds can lean in and experience the healing effects of sound.
Sound baths provide a gentle way to heal so many ailments we are dealing with, not only on a daily basis but also situations from our past we haven’t taken the time to address. The more you work with the energy of the sound bowls, the more opportunity you have to release that which is no longer serving you. By bringing awareness of unhealthy habits, patterns or belief systems, you are able to observe them and then address them. This allows you to gain a clearer understanding of your dharmic path and complete the mission which brought you to this earthly plane. We have the capability to heal and bring balance into our lives. Allow the sound to be your medicine!
Join Sonia Rodriguez for a 60 minute sound bath featuring a 9-Piece Chakra Set of Frosted Crystal Quartz Singing Bowls. Participants will be guided into a relaxed state through breath work and guided meditation. The sound experience will be dedicated to tuning out the world and tuning into the harmonious sounds of the bowls. The session will close with a moment of silence to allow the sound to integrate with the body and grounding exercises will be introduced to bring awareness back into the body.
You are encouraged to bring anything that allows you to lay comfortably during the sound session. This may include a yoga mat, blanket, bolster, pillow, eye mask, etc. The more you can relax in the space the better you will be able to connect with the sound. Comfortable, loose, or stretchy clothes are suggested.
Each of the Crystal Quartz Singing Bowls is tuned to a pitch that corresponds to specific chakras that lie both within and outside of the body. The sound frequencies assist in balancing the chakras and auric field as well as strengthen your connection to source.
