We are a group of fun loving people trying to enjoy life and enjoy a good conversation.
As the covid situation is still at large, we are mainly holding outdoor events and sometimes online ones
No age limit. Young and old are welcome to all events.
Since we probably have a bigger community outside of Meetup, you'll definitely meet new Japanese people you've never met on other groups

This time, we’re focusing on traditional Swedish comfort food and one of Scandinavia’s most beloved sweet treats.

### 🍽 What We’re Making
### 🥔 Jansson’s Temptation (ヤンセンの誘惑)
A classic Swedish casserole made with potatoes and anchovies.
There are a few interesting stories about its name:- The Swedish Embassy in Japan introduces a theory that “Jansson was a woman who tempted men with her delicious cooking.”
- In Japan, another popular story says it was named after a vegetarian religious man named Jansson who couldn’t resist the irresistible smell and appearance of the dish and finally gave in!
Either way… it’s rich, creamy, and very tempting.

### 🌀 Swedish Cardamom Rolls (カルダモンロール)
Cardamom is deeply rooted in Nordic baking culture. Some say Vikings brought it from Turkey, others say it arrived via the Moors in Europe.
Whatever the origin, Scandinavians fell in love with it!
Unlike regular cinnamon rolls, cardamom rolls use cardamom in the dough, filling, and topping, creating a fragrant and elegant flavor.
