**Beltuner is a Paris-based quartet** known for their electrifying live performances and fearless blend of musical styles. Since bursting onto the French jazz scene in the early 2000s, they have built a devoted following with their infectious energy and genre-defying sound. The group features Johann Riche on accordion and vocals, Pascal Muller on guitar, Bertrand Allaume on bass, and Mathieu Stora on percussion. Together, they create a bold and joyful fusion that draws from swing, manouche, musette (small bagpipe), tango, pop, and contemporary jazz. If you are new to Toastmasters, we make each session interesting by following a structured schedule with numerous roles for each member, including a new theme, a word of the day, and a fun portion called Table Topics that everyone is welcome to participate in. And if you have felt intimidated by public speaking, this club is for you. St. Vladimir Toastmasters is the BEST place to practice your communication skills in a stimulating and supportive environment. Our group rocks! ## Rehearsal Details: Thursday evenings 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m, Earl Bales Community Centre 4169 Bathurst St., just south of Sheppard, in Toronto. Do you love performing for live audiences? The Toronto Accolades Chorus brings women-centric singers together to sing and perform a cappella harmony. Harmony connects people from all backgrounds, ages, and musical abilities to create a community where you can not only sing, but find a space to connect with other strong and dedicated people just like you. For decades, we've provided a venue for singers to express themselves, make quality music together, and form bonds beyond measure, and we invite you to join us for the ride. We welcome guests and work with them to find out their voice range and to determine what part (lead, tenor, baritone or bass) they would sing best. Guests are given a music folder and encouraged to participate in singing with the chorus in subsequent weeks. Although we continually strive for musical excellence, prior musical training is not necessary to belong to our chorus. We provide everyone with sheet music, audio learning tracks, education and guidance. At the end of 6 weeks, we ask each prospective member to audition, to ensure that they can hold their part in a four-part harmony song.

**Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in!** **We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind.** **If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward at Prost Beer and Wine Cafe. **We'll hike 3.4 miles on the Killdeer and Yellowlegs Trails - both out and back gravel trails. If we want more mileage we can repeat an out and back. Pace of around 3.5 mph, no one left behind and those who want to go faster sure can!** **As always optional lunch after.** **This is the second Metro Park in the lineup - with 21 to go (plus more are being added).** **Also I have a conflict and am not available so have asked Karin to lead!**
