SPEAKER LINE UP
We're back with a new format following your feedback: three speakers, no self-promotion allowed, technology focused talks all in the space of just 2 hours. The meetup will be filmed (but not livestreamed) and all videos will be released onStephan Tual's Youtube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/ursium) roughly 3 weeks after the event.
(NOTE WE ARE STILL WORKING ON THE LINE UP PICTURES AND DESCRIPTIONS BUT THE SPEAKERS ARE CONFIRMED)
Nick Johnson - Ethereum ENS (https://ens.domains)

Nick Johnson is a core developer on Go Ethereum, and project lead for the Ethereum Name Service. In his spare time, he dives, cycles, and produces Ethereum gift cards.
Nick graciously offered to present a deep-dive in the Ethereum ENS, complete with brand new, never seen before slides.
Mathias Grønnebæk - Braveno (https://braveno.com/)
https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/9/6/3/a/600_463718458.jpeg
The future financial system will grant everybody direct access to financial infrastructure more advanced than the legacy system only banks, and brokers could previously interact with. Braveno is a UK based exchange focused on accelerating the advent of an open financial system.
During this talk, Mathias will talk about the architecture of a new financial system of direct access, where banks are merely one of many service providers, and a new class of gatekeepers, exchanges, are competing to become the AWS of financial infrastructure.
Matthew Hodgson - Matrix.org (https://matrix.org/)
https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/9/5/d/1/600_463718353.jpeg
Matthew Hodgson is technical co-founder of Matrix.org, and spends his life supporting the Matrix community and helping build the Riot.im flagship Matrix clients.
In this talk, Matthew will talk about Exploring decentralised communication with matrix.org. He will introduce the Matrix.org open standard for decentralised communication, where messages, VoIP and other real-time data are stored in Merkle DAGs replicated over all participating servers, giving users full ownership and control over their comms. Matrix is closely related to blockchain, but optimised for low latency communication and persisting conversation history, rather than providing strong transactional guarantees. He'll explain Matrix's APIs and state-of-the-art decentralised end-to-end encryption, and demo some of the latest clients, including recent experiments in using Matrix to power communication in VR!
