👋 Hey guys! Let’s kick this group off with the cult classic Leprechaun (1993), written and directed by Mark Jones. Originally intended as a straightforward horror film, it ended up becoming a cult horror-comedy favorite. Critics weren’t kind to it at the time, but horror fans have embraced its B-movie charm more and more over the years.

The film follows a vengeful leprechaun who believes a family has stolen his pot of gold. As he hunts them down, they scramble to track down the missing coins and return them before things get… messy.

By the way long before Friends made her a household name, the film also gave Jennifer Aniston one of her very first roles on screen.

The plan: is to meet at the Look Dine-In Cinema bar for a meet-and-greet before the film starts. The movie will be on Screen 3. I’ve chosen seat B5, but feel free to sit wherever you’re most comfortable. Then after the film, we’ll wrap things up with a quick Letterboxd review chat for anyone who wants to stay and talk horror.
