The next stop on the World Food Tour is Pho Ha Saigon. This modern Vietnamese Restaurant has 4 locations. Authentic Dishes. Traditional Vietnamese cooking is greatly admired for its fresh ingredients, minimal use of dairy and oil, complementary textures, and reliance on herbs and vegetables. With the balance between fresh herbs and meats and the selective use of spices to reach a fine taste, Vietnamese food is considered one of the healthiest cuisines worldwide. Check out their menu here.
This restaurant is BYOB so you are encouraged to bring a bottle of wine to share. We will order appetizers to share and everyone will select their own entree. The bill will be divided equally including tax and 20% tip. The cost per person should be between $35-50 per person. Please bring cash.
I will confirm that you will be attending a day or two before the event so that I can adjust the reservation if needed. If you can't attend, kindly change your RSVP to not going so that someone on the wait list can go or I can correct the reservation at least 24 hours prior.

Next Stop on the World Food Tour: Uzbekistan Restaurant
The bread alone is worth a visit. This flying-saucer-shaped round with a seed-speckled indentation is simply addictive when it arrives hot and crisp-bottomed from the tandoor oven.
Mentioning Indian tandoor may seem odd, but it’s a reminder that Uzbekistan occupies an exotic corner of the former Soviet Union, more Central Asia than Eastern Europe. Its perch on the Silk Road, touching the northwest corner of Afghanistan, explains the appearance of lagman, the hand-rolled noodles with roots in China that anchor bowls of lamb-scented soup, as well as plates topped with a soulful kavurma sauce of braised lamb and tomatoes. There are nods to Uzbekistan’s large Korean community, with dishes like “fimchusa” glass noodles tossed with spicy ground meat. And there is a deeply flavored veal-and-beet borscht, as well as handmade vareniki dumplings, to please the local Ukrainian clientele.
Bring enough CASH $$$ to make payment easier $35-45. We will get appetizers to share for the table, everyone will order their own entree, and we will split the bill. If you have dietary restrictions send a private message to the Host ahead of time.
This restaurant is BYOB so feel free to bring your favorite wine to share. A full-bodied red wine, like Shiraz or Zinfandel, complements the savory flavors of this rich pilaf. A lighter red wine, like Pinot Noir, balances the richness of these minced meat dumplings without overpowering them. A crisp, acidic white wine, like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc, pairs well with garlic, onion, parsley, and cilantro. A sweeter white wine, like Riesling, or an earthy red wine, like Pinot Noir or Syrah, pairs well with cumin or Harissa.
I will confirm that you will be attending a couple of days before the event so that I can adjust the reservation for the correct number of people and people on the waitlist can move to going if there is room. Please make sure to confirm. You will only be included in the reservation if you confirm as I do not want to leave the restaurant with empty seats. If you do not confirm, you may be moved to not going. If you can't attend, kindly change your RSVP to not going at least 24 hours prior.
I can't wait to see you there. This place is incredible.
