About us
We're building a home for forward deployed engineers in the Bay Area.
FDE Social is a community for forward deployed engineers and the engineers looking to become them. It's one of the hottest, fastest-moving roles in tech right now, and until now, there's been nowhere for the people doing it to come together. So we're building one.
At its heart, it's an in-person meetup held once a quarter at unique San Francisco venues — fully sponsored, with speakers, food and drinks, and built for real learning and real networking. Each quarter we zoom in on a different corner of this emerging space, joined by some of the leaders and organizations at the forefront of it.
Between events, we're building virtual sessions and ongoing conversations to keep the network connected for more than just four nights a year - with plans on the horizon, including a forward-deployed engineering hackathon with a customer-facing twist. A place to trade stories, share networks, learn, and test yourself alongside peers who get what you do.
Much more to come. Follow the page and come be part of it from the start.
