What we’re about
We are a chapter of the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF).
Our purpose is to support those who are free from religion by promoting the principle of separation of state and church and educating the public about nontheism. FFRF chapters do this by hosting educational and social events, publicizing freethought, and intervening in government violations of church-state separation.
Our chapter has recently been formed to do this in the Bay Area. We invite all Bay Area atheists, agnostics and freethinkers to support us by joining. (Chapter membership is not the same as membership in this Meetup group.)
If you would like to volunteer to help us get rolling, email us.
