About Vessi Kapoulian:
Vessi is the Founder and Managing Partner of DBA Capital Group, a Los Angeles-based real estate investment firm with ~$80MM in assets under management. A former commercial lender, she brings over 20 years of business and finance experience to her work as a multifamily investor, board advisor, and family office consultant.
Today, she advises family offices on risk-mitigated real estate investments and supports long-term strategic planning through board advisory roles. Vessi also provides due diligence and consulting services to both active and passive investors—helping them evaluate operators, markets, and deal structures with confidence.
Born and raised behind the Iron Curtain in Bulgaria, Vessi earned a full academic scholarship to study in the U.S. She holds a B.S. from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She is a frequent speaker at investor conferences, podcasts, and industry events.
