- Andrew Westling
Walker & Dunlop
Director of Capital Markets
Andrew Westling is a Director of Capital Markets, based out of Walker & Dunlop’s Los Angeles, California office. In his role, Mr. Westling is responsible for new loan originations and closings for multifamily and commercial properties nationwide. Throughout his career, Mr. Westling has underwritten and closed more than $2.1 Billion in debt and equity financing for multifamily, industrial, retail, office, hotel, manufactured housing, and self-storage properties across the country.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop in 2016, Mr. Westling served as a director for the George Elkins Mortgage Banking Company (GEMB), originating, underwriting, and closing commercial real estate loan transactions. Preceding GEMB, Mr. Westling served as a vice president for the Private Bank at Union Bank. Mr. Westling’s responsibilities within the Private Bank included originating and structuring custom credit solutions for his clients, including commercial real estate financing, asset-based lending, and cash-flow-secured credit facilities.
Mr. Westling earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a dual concentration in finance and accounting from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.

SoCal Mortgage
SoCal Mortgage is led by Brett Lightner, a 36-year industry veteran with expertise in many areas of real estate transactions including: Residential and commercial mortgages, construction loans, private financing for complex deals, housing development and intricate structuring of complex transactions. Throughout his career, Brett has represented a wide range of clientele, including developers, portfolio managers, celebrities and many first-time home buyers.
Brett enjoys teaching financial literacy, especially to first time buyers and young adults, he believes you can build wealth on any income using discipline and the right tools.
His distinguished clientele also extends to professionals within esteemed institutions such as the FBI, UCLA, USC, LAPD, LAFD, City of LA, SNAP, Meta, Sony and Paramount Studios. In total, Brett has overseen over $1.7B of real estate transactions.
Brett is a graduate of CSUN with a degree in Finance and Real Estate, Licensed Real Estate Broker and a member of several industry groups.
