Annual Family Picnic
It's been a bit of time since we got together for our Family Picnic and there's no time like the present. Come together with other freethinking families at a beautiful location in Addison. We will gather at the pavilion for a potluck style lunch. There is a playground, room for yard games and plenty of shade if you need a break from the sun. April weather can be unpredictable, but we hope the temperature holds and it stays dry.
Bring a picnic dish to share, enough for yourself and 6 others. Please use our SignUpGenius to share what you will be bringing. We hope to have many participants. The food DOES NOT have to be homemade. Catering trays, fried chicken buckets, sandwich trays, etc. are welcomed and appreciated.

FoF will provide the drinks (water, iced tea, lemonade, fruit juice) and serving plates and plastic ware.
The rules of the venue do not allow for any alcoholic beverages. Please honor this as this is a public place and we will not be the only group on the premises.
Please bring camp chairs or blankets for your comfort. Bring outdoor games for all to share including, but not limited to footballs, Frisbee, bubbles, and corn hole.
Freethinkers will be joining us from all parts of the Metroplex. Whether you're an FoF regular or new to the group, this is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends. We hope to see you there!

AIDS Services of Dallas Supper Club
731 N Ewing Ave, Dallas, TX, USOn the fourth Thursday of every month our group serves the residents of the Ewing House as part of our partnership with AIDS Services of Dallas. The Supper Club is a program that provides the residents hot, nutritious meals every night. In addition to sharing home cooked meals, social interaction is also an important benefit.
Our volunteers are instrumental in the success of this program. Please bring one or two dishes that are enough to feed 15-20 residents, employees, and volunteers. I have created a SignUpGenius with our themed menu of the month. Please sign up for the item(s) you will be bringing. Please bring food as prepared as possible before arrival. We do have an oven and gas stove for reheating.
