Virtual Blood Drive--Give on Your Own Time! Save A Life (or 3)!
***Please note that Meetup will only let me set this up as a two week event. I will post it again, BUT know that the event is lasting until the end of the month***
### Happy Halloween month! Did you know?: Only three out of 100 Americans donates blood in a given year, yet every TWO seconds someone needs blood. Bleed for a cause. Donate a pint of your finest type to an American Red Cross location at your convenience from October 7-31. Thank you for your consideration.
Details on how this works. This is not a group event. Click on the link below and set up an appointment that works for your schedule. It does not matter where you donate as long as it is with the American Red Cross. Once you complete your donation it is logged as part of our team. I have set a goal for 15 donors between now and the end of October. That is up to 45 people that can be saved from our efforts. LET'S DO THIS!!!!!

AIDS Services of Dallas Supper Club
731 N Ewing Ave, Dallas, TX, USOn the fourth Thursday of every month our group serves the residents of the Ewing House as part of our partnership with AIDS Services of Dallas. The Supper Club is a program that provides the residents hot, nutritious meals every night. In addition to sharing home cooked meals, social interaction is also an important benefit.
Our volunteers are instrumental in the success of this program. Please bring one or two dishes that are enough to feed 15-20 residents, employees, and volunteers. I have created a SignUpGenius with our themed menu of the month. Please sign up for the item(s) you will be bringing. Please bring food as prepared as possible before arrival. We do have an oven and gas stove for reheating.
