About us

Forest Bathing Day, New Mexico
SAVE THE DATE: 19 September
Across New Mexico, a community of certified nature guides will be offering walks in forests, mesas, parks, and other places of beauty.

Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, Forest Bathing invites us to slow down, awaken the senses, and nourish our connection with the natural world and ourselves. More than a hike, these guided experiences offer an opportunity to step outside the pace of daily life and enter a more spacious rhythm of attention and presence, and wellbeing.

Held during the seasonal turning toward autumn, this shared day celebrates the diverse landscapes of New Mexico while fostering a growing culture of relationship with place and community.

Whether you are new to Forest Bathing or returning to a familiar practice, we invite you to join us for a day of meaningful connection with the living world.

Guides, locations and details coming soon.
