Toastmasters International (TI) the premier public speaking organization in the world. It is a nonprofit educational organization that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of helping members improve their communication, public speaking and leadership skills. Toastmasters is open to adults (typically 18 and older) of all skill levels and professional backgrounds.

We provide a fun, relaxing and inspiring environment for members and guests to incorporate language advancement, socializing, public speaking and personal growth, one online meeting at a time.Who We Are: We are a group of energetic, eclectic, and diverse people who come from different educational and professional backgrounds. We are passionate about polishing our English and Mandarin communication skills while deepening our understanding of the cultures behind the languages. Our members are based in US, Canada, Singapore and China.
How Special We Are: We are the first and only English/Mandarin Bilingual Toastmasters Club in the Founder's District. We have continuously attained the President's Distinguished Club title since we chartered in 2021. That's the highest achievement for club quality.

Mastering Presentations, Liberty Toastmasters - In Person
St. Paul's Conference Center, 2557 Third Avenue, San Diego, CA, USDo you need to prepare for a major presentation, job interview or wedding speech?
Join us to master your speaking—in a small group, one speech at a time, and at your own pace. At Liberty Toastmasters, we use the structure of the meeting to practice different types of speech.
Meetings are held from 7-8:30 pm every Thursday evening. The doors open at 6:45.
Our basic meeting format:
7:05 pm - Meeting Called to Order
7:06 pm - Miscellaneous business announcements
7:15 pm - Table Topics (impromptu speaking, everyone participates)
Break
8 pm - Prepared speeches (usually 2 speeches)
8:15 pm - Evaluation of speeches and other aspects of the meeting
8:30 pm - Presentation of Awards
8:30 pm - Meeting ends (members help with room clean up)IMPORTANT: Not all of our members are on Meetup.com. Normally, 8-12 members plus guests attend our meetings.
