Basic info on our Meetups:
* We stay on our feet to promote mingling and chatting in French in the bar area of this restaurant.
* You should order one drink or appetizer to keep our venues happy with our events. (Each member should have their own tab with the bartender.)
* This is a member-driven group so you should help in greeting new people as they come in and welcoming them to your circle of speakers.
* All levels of French are welcome, though it is a French-only event so you should be able to hold a basic conversation.
* If you would like to take a table, keep in mind this venue will expect you to order food and you will need to sort out the bill with whomever joins you.

Le "Petit Meetup" de conversation française a lieu une fois par mois à partir de 13h. Le café propose des sandwichs, salades, pâtisseries, ainsi que des boissons. J'espère vous y voir lors d'un prochain dimanche après-midi. Du fait de la pandémie, le point de rendez-vous est au café à 13h mais ceux qui le veulent iront ensuite à Dolores Park.

This is an online meeting with language lovers from San Diego and LA. We've averaged around 25-40 attendees in these meetups, with people joining us also from the East Coast, Asia, Mexico and Europe.
We've had breakout rooms for Arabic, Spanish, French, Russian, German, Italian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Portuguese, Swedish, Hebrew, Hindi, Turkish and others. The languages represented will depend on attendees' interests. With the latest version of Zoom you can hop in and out of breakout rooms as you like.
English learners are welcome! ... we usually speak English in the main room and can have an English breakout room if needed.
