βOnce again Toledano and Nakache demonstrate their seemingly effortless ability to give old-fashioned yet sophisticated comedy a wide multi-generational, multi-ethnic appeal: watching βCβest La Vie!β is akin to being part of their own joyous celebration as multiple characters waft in and out.β β Screen DailyWatch the trailer with English subtitles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjV8m84FcOs

Although particularly harsh, the educational policies of the school's director, Rachin, are proving ineffectual. ClΓ©ment sets out to change the pupils' lives by acquainting them with the magic and power of music.
βIt is magnificent, enlightening and powerful. The score, almost entirely original, is magnificent and the chorus itself is marvelous. Unlike familiar choruses in such films as "Sister Act" and the musicians in "Mr. Holland's Opus" and "Music of the Heart," these children really bring their characters to life...they bring the music to life wondrously.β -The Independent CriticWatch the trailer with English subtitles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhYtVMoWFNQ

While exploring the house, left untouched since the 1940s, they excavate the life of their ancestor, Adèle Vermillard, a 20 year old woman who lived there in 1895. The end of the 19th century saw the birth of both photography and the Impressionist movement, which profoundly changed painting. Through back-and-forth journeys between 1895 and 2025, they find in the relics of the past what will help them better envision their own future.
βKlapisch encourages the audience (particularly Gen Z) to think about their own relationship to history and art, and to put down their phones and explore the world around them.β - International Cinephile SocietyWatch the trailer with English subtitles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sTdOm2BID8
