We're kick off the night with Ido Tuchman and "What Every Software Developer Should Know About Intellectual Property Law". Mr. Tuchman is an attorney at TuchmanLaw.com and focuses on intellectual property law. Here's a peek into what Ido has for us!

This presentation gives a rundown of copyrights, patents, trademarks, and other legal protections relevant to software developers. We'll go over how to acquire intellectual property protection, and how to avoid infringing other people's property rights.

Our second talk of the night is "Ledger CLI, Personal finance in the command line" by Edwin Espinoza.

Do you manage your Personal finances in a GUI? is it clunky? Do you not know how to edit the name expense? Come and join me on an adventure to conquer our personal finances in a simple text based and command line interface tool called Ledger. (https://www.ledger-cli.org/). It is 2021 GUIs are all the rage? Don’t worry this tool is very developer friendly we can throw a GUI on top of it fast than you can say “npm install”. It can do so much more like, it can balance all of your accounts, history of an account, pay in one currency receive change in another, keep track of your stock purchases. We will go through all of this and more.
