Full Stack Talks

Details

Katie Riley is starting the night off with "Y THO?", an exploration into seemingly nonsensical results from Ruby and JS interpreters.

If you've never been surprised by a totally random result in your application, you haven't worked in Ruby or JS for long. Implicit choices made by interpreters can seem totally wrong. Diving a little deeper, we can hopefully discover what these computers are thinking.

William Dos Santos is back! This time he will be presenting "Exploring Lottie Animations". Here's a little sneak peek from William.

"Your app works! The design is clean and the functionality is stable. But now you want to give it that little extra zip with some animations here and there. Together, we will take a look at the Lottie Animation library and discuss its benefits and when and how to use it."
