Join us for this weekly Thursday night Live Outdoor Jazz and coffee at the Night Owl Coffeehouse in Downtown Fullerton. Bring your own folding chair, food, and snacks. Invite your friends, meet with existing friends and make new friends. This Event is Free! You only pay for your coffee, tea, hot chocolate, pasties and snacks.

1. RSVP's: Everyone who attends an event must RSVP and must be on the “Going” list. If you decide not to attend this event or not able to attend for whatever reason, please update your RSVP to “Not Going” or notify the Host via Text or Meetup messaging. Everyone must put the event on your calendar so that you won’t forget. Please ONLY attend because you would like to participate in this activity, Please don’t ask how many people or who is attending. As mentioned above, this event is scheduled with multiple Meetup Groups, so there will be more people attending than have RSVP’d for this group. No-Shows” will either be removed from the group or not be allowed to attend future events.
2. NOTIFICATIONS: Updates and confirmations might be sent out, so everyone who RSVP’s for this event must have their Meetup notifications turned on for this group and periodically check their personal email.
3. ATTENDEE PROFILE PHOTOS & NAMES: We must be able to identify everyone who RSVPs, so you must have a current, clear, unobscured profile photo of yourself. Profile photos must NOT have the following: Sunglasses, Hats, face-covering, scarves, group shots, animals, nature scenes, blurry photos, shirtless photos, provocative or suggestive photos. Your Profile Name must be your real first name (no titles, nicknames, abbreviations, letters, symbols or numbers).
4. BEHAVIOR: Everyone is expected to be respectful, considerate, courteous, gracious and maintain sober behavior. Everyone is required to abstain from gossip, discussing any hot topics that would create discord or arguments. This includes arguing or talking negative about politics, wars, race, religion, other people, other Meetup groups, or any kind of negativity. Profanity (cursing, swearing, cussing, obscene language) is also prohibited.
5. SEXUAL HARASSMENT/ STALKING: Sexual harassment will not be tolerated. This includes unsolicited physical contact (touching) without the other person’s consent, making suggestive verbal comments, leering, using explicit language, and stalking. Unless you already know each other, members are prohibited from contacting another member through Meetup messaging. Please report any violators to the event host. Violators will be removed from the group and reported to Meetup. All crimes will be reported to the police.
6. HEALTH: We request that if you’re not feeling well, have any of the following symptoms from Covid, flu, cold, or virus; we respectfully ask that you not attend this event to prevent the possible spread of infection – cough, sniffles, measles, fever, chills, body aches, etc.
7. EVENT PHOTOS: Photos of our events may be taken by the organizer and other attendees and posted on Meetup and social media to promote events. If you don’t want your photo taken, please let us know, or avoid being in the group photos taken.

Redwoods 3-Mile Hike @ Carbon Canyon Regional Park - Brea, CA

Join us at Carbon Canyon Regional Park on Saturday, April 18th @ 10:00 AM for a hike to see and enjoy the largest grove of redwood trees in Southern California. The trees cover three acres. This will be a level dirt trail 3-mile loop hike. Guests and doggies are welcome (dogs but must be on a leash).

Carbon Canyon Regional Park

Directions: From the 57 freeway you can exit Lambert Road and turn right. Continue traveling East and Lambert eventually turns into Carbon Canyon Road. The park entrance is located at the stoplight intersection of East Santa Fe Road and Carbon Canyon Road, on the south side. After entering the park, turn right and park in Lot C or make an additional left turn and park in Lot B. The hike starts at the entrance to Lot B. Entrance Fee: If you don't have an annual parking pass, the cost to park inside the park is $5 on the weekend. Annual Pass: The annual parking pass is $55 and is good at all of Orange County’s regional parks. The senior rate, age 60+, is $35. You can purchase a pass online at https://www.ocparks.com/annualpass or in person at any Orange County regional park (M-F, 8AM-12PM, 1PM-4PM). Sixty of its 124 acres are developed, offering grassy areas for picnicking, sports facilities, and a 4-acre lake with two piers for fishing. The undeveloped area features a trail that leads to its crown jewel, three acres of majestic Coastal Redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens). This is the only grove of redwoods in Orange County.

Join us on Sunday, April 19th at 1:00PM for an afternoon picnic at Citrus Ranch Park in Tustin. Albert will provide a BBQ gas grill, meat, tables, water, paper plates, utensils, and napkins. You only bring a food item to grill or side dish, enough for 10 people. Also bring your own portable folding chair. Enjoy the outdoors, fresh air, enjoy nature, and walk the park with friends, make new friends, and have fun.
