One of our most popular walks during the year, let’s meet and enjoy the outdoors. This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect, unwind, and embrace the serenity of Duke Farms. The sights include: a manmade waterfall (currently under repair), meditation field, Orchid House, 19th Century Carriage House, Watch Tower and a Sculpture Garden amid nature’s beauty that comes together to create a tranquil escape from our busy lives. Estimate length of walk: 2.5 flat easy miles on paved paths.

Whether you're a seasoned walker or simply looking to enjoy the outdoors, the trails at Duke Farms are suitable for all levels of fitness. Duke Farms has strict group policies about the number of people that can visit at one time so please be considerate and only rsvp if you are confident you will be able to make the date. A second walk is scheduled Sat., Nov 8 to accommodate as many members as we can. Please don’t sign up for both events.

There's a cafe in the visitors building. We can grab a coffee or lunch there as we regroup to go on with our day. Much of the food is grown onsite or locally sourced with light lunch offerings (e.g., sandwiches, salads, bakery treats, etc.). No outside food is permitted.

Here's a chance to immerse yourself in the beauty of the natural world while enjoying the company of like-minded women.

First timers to Duke Farms I recommend coming early or staying afterwards to hear a 10-15 minute film on the history and goals of Duke Farms. It is shown in the main visitor building on a continual loop.

Meet inside...It's a small venue with plenty of room for dancing. Walk in, pay the dance fee, walk to end of ballroom. We'll gather and sit at the round
tables. Please look for the group.

Come to an early Friendsgiving Celebration of our Gal Pal Friends! Join us at a Mix and Mingle at the Stage House in Mountainside. We can hangout, talking, laughing and reminiscing and planning new adventures for the upcoming year!
