GDG Cyprus is an independent group of developers across Cyprus. We aim to run tech talks, workshops, study groups, networking events, hackathons and podcasts as well as partner with major initiatives in Cyprus to promote and support the technical community of Cyprus.

A GDG can take many forms -- from just a few people getting together to watch our latest video, to large gatherings with demos and tech talks, to events like code sprints, hackathons and podcasts. However, at the core, GDGs are focused on developers and technical content, and the core audience should be developers.

This workshop is open to all levels of experience! It's perfect for software engineering students, tech industry professionals, and anyone passionate about cybersecurity and penetration testing.What to Bring:
- Your laptop with at least 25 GB of free space, to be able to run a virtual machine
- Oracle Virtual Box installed on your laptop before coming to the workshop. To download (free), click: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
At the end of this workshop, each person that downloaded the VM will be given explicit instructions on how to root the machine and gain elevated privileges to manipulate the machine.
