I am happy to introduce our next topic of discussion - Understanding the Dark Feminine. A warm and vibrant community will welcome you to the event and I hope you can attend! This session will take place on June 23 at 18:45 - 20:45 at the Crowned Eagle Pub.
Introduction to the topic - "Dark" often gets a bad rep in the spiritual community and we often look more towards "love" and "light" within our spiritual pursuits. "Dark" does not mean "evil", but rather it can mean that which is unknown, misunderstood, and repressed. This can be true in spirituality, psychology, and even society. This is especially true in the divine / spiritual feminine, which we will explore here.
Just as we understand the spiritual feminine to embody the receptive, the creative, and the nurturing aspects of existence, we also understand that there are many facets to it. This creative, receptive force can be compassionate and merciful, just as much as it can be destructive, wild, and transformative. This is the essence of the dark feminine. We will explore the deeper and even repressed aspects of the dark feminine through its most important icons such as the Vedic goddess Kali and the maligned figure of Lilith. We will delve into the archetype and its manifestations within us and in our world. It is a chance to cast away the traditional views of "good" vs "evil" and to embrace a much more complex spiritual picture. And for this, I hope you can join us on what is sure to be a enlightening and powerful discussion!

Closing and goodbyes (10-15 minutes)
