This Sunday we will hike from Haut de Caux to Rochers de Naye, finishing at Jaman where there is a nice buvette. Those adventurous enough can climb from there to the Dent de Jaman and come back.

🏔️ HIKE DETAILS

We will meet at the Haut de Caux train station, coming from Montreux, and start climbing to Rochers de Naye, where we can stop for lunch. We will come down to the town of Jaman where we can take the train back to Montreux.

As usual, we will walk at a moderate and steady pace, and will be making stops for snacks, lunch and to admire the views. The hike has an elevation of 950m, therefore you need to be adequately fit to do it.

🥾 TECHNICAL / PHYSICAL DIFFICULTY:

The hike does not present technical difficulties but you need to be in adequate physical shape as the group walks fast.

🌏 DIRECTIONS

If you come from Geneva or Lausanne, please take:

  • RE33 (direction St Maurice) departing Geneva at 8:07 (Lausanne at 9:04) and arriving in Montreux at 9:20
  • Then, R37 (direction Rochers de Naye), departing Montreux at 9:34 and arriving in Haut de Caux at 10:02.

For our way back, there are trains departing Jaman in direction to Montreux at 15:49, 16:49, and 17:49.
