The tech community can be an intimidating place for beginners, especially if those beginners are part of a minority. While open and welcoming, today's developer community is still largely comprised of men. We seek to create a comfortable community where women can learn at their own pace and not be afraid to ask "stupid questions." As a local chapter of Girl Develop It our goal is to provide affordable, high-quality, low-pressure courses and workshops. We also host free Meetup events each month where our community comes together to talk shop, ask questions, and get coding help.
