The Cobbler. Arrochar

Join GYW on a rocky climb to catch some stunning views over Arrochar.

This hike will follow the rocky climb to the top and then we'll take the steps on the return route. Please only sign up if you are at a reasonable fitness level and understand the risks of scrambling.

Also for the time of year make sure you have plenty of food, water, sun cream and coverage from the sun. Also suitable hiking boots.

Attendee numbers will be limited to 10.

MEETING POINT: Succoth Car Park, West of, Arrochar G83 7AP

START TIME: 8AM

DISTANCE: 11km / 6.75 miles

DURATION: 4-6 hours

DIFFICULTY: moderate with scrambling sections.

BY CAR: it is roughly an hour's drive from central Glasgow. if you can offer a car share please comment and passengers will be expected to contribute to fuel (also be aware of pay to park charges).

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: There is a train to Arrochar & Tarbet (1.8 miles from the meeting point) and citylink buses.
