What we’re about
I'm a Cognitive Science PhD (Educational Psychology / Neuroscience) who works in UX and User Research 🧠 Cognitive science is interdisciplinary and so should this meetup 👩🏽🔬
We'll have speakers from HCI, UX, UR, Product, Gaming, AI, Neuroscience, Ed-Psych, Linguistics and other fields. Each lecture will tend to have an applied lens of how to use the knowledge to make products better designed and more user centered, but sometimes we'll just have fun and learn something cool. A mix of corporate applied and academic speakers and topics!
I will also offer hackathons related to Cog Sci/Ed-tech, free webinars on topics related to user research and UX education and free bi-weekly (open to change) office hours for people to ask me user research, concept testing and UX questions about their products, esp. AI products!
This is global and online so anyone in the world can join and we can all connect and learn together! May have quarterly local events in San Francisco later (TBD).
