(MS) Eastatoe Passage of the Palmetto Trail

Meet at Publix at 8am for carpools or at the trailhead at 9am. If you are meeting at the trailhead, please let me know in the comments so we are not waiting unnecessarily at the carpool.

Description:
We will head out on the Eastatoe Passage of the Palmetto Trail starting at the Dug Mountain Fishing Access parking lot off Roy F. Jones Rd. We will hike alongside Eastatoe Creek crossing over two newly completed Zeke swinging bridges. From there we will climb approximately 1000 feet to the top of the ridge. This hike is an in and out and will be around 1000' EG and 6 miles. The parking lot is small so highly recommend carpooling from Publix.
