EVENT CANCELLED (MS) Eastatoe Passage of the Palmetto trail

Beginning at Dug Fishing Access on Roy F Jones Rd we will hike the Palmetto trail as it follow Eastatoe Creek. Continuing down the trail there are two rope suspension bridges to cross, professionally built and a wonder see. We will have lunch/snack on a rock face before turning around and hiking back to the parking lot, crossing the bridges again. This hike will 6 mi long, with a 800' eg., hiked at a moderate, 2 mph pace.

Plan to car pool from University Square Shopping Center at 9 am, leaving at 9:00 am, (parking near the OLD Publix mkt).

Please advise the leader if you plan to meet at the parking lot - Dug Mt Fishing Access on Roy F Jones Rd. Hike will begin promptly at 10 am.
