Volunteer FTC Campsite Work Weekend

The plan for working on the campsite is to get a start on Friday, then the main workday will be Saturday. Volunteers can go up on Friday and camp out both Friday and Saturday nights, or volunteers can come for the work day without camping. We will wrap up everything on Sunday morning and clear out by noon. We will shuttle volunteers in and out using the FTC UTV, however riders will have to sign a liability waiver beforehand. The shuttle location will be from Camp Adger Rd off US 178 (carpool from Holly Springs due to limited parking).

Participants please state in the comments if you will be camping on Friday, Saturday or both nights as part of the work weekend, or if you will be using the shuttle to and from the campsite without camping.

Bring gloves, lunch and something to drink. We will provide any tools needed.

If coming on Friday, we will meet at Holly Springs at 12:30 and carpool to Camp Adger Rd. parking (space is limited at the parking lot). This will be for campers only unless you plan to hike out on Friday. We will be staging materials/tools and setting up camp for the night.
*** We are adding additional shuttles on Friday at 9:00 am and 4:30 pm. Please make a comment if you plan to use it! ***

If you are coming on Saturday and would like to take the shuttle to the campsite, meet at Holly Springs at 9:00 AM. Otherwise, you can hike in from the Sassafras parking area (the easiest way (3.7 miles)) or Table Rock SP (6.3 miles).

Campers, please pack like you are backpacking and bring food and supplies for the time you plan to spend at the event.
