This week’s guided meditation, “Sophia’s Gift of Vision,” contrasts the restricted vision of mortal mind that depends upon physical senses with the true sight afforded from seeing with the divine spark inside each of us. Mortal seeing creates division and distortion; yoga and meditation can help Sophia’s light to pierce through illusions and reveal knowledge that transcends the mortal condition. The meditation lets seekers experience the contracting darkness of physical sight versus the brightness and expansiveness of accessing Sophia’s vision of Reality.

Our Sunday Services include several different practices that bring us closer to the Divine. It's fine to come for the one you are most interested in or to come right at 9:30 and stay until 1:00. The normal schedule is as follows:
9:30 Participating in Gnostic songs with Zedek and his guitar. These songs are recorded as Zedek has recently passed. They relate to the theme of our metaphysical class and guided meditation.
9:45 Metaphysical lecture and discussion lead by a teacher of Gnosis. This week's topic is "The Nature of Faith."
10:30 Yoga practices designed to prepare us for meditation
11:15 Guided Meditation and Discussion.
12:00- 12:45 Creation of icons and sharing of Icons
