This week’s Guided Mediation, “Unlocking the Gates to Gnosis,” lets seekers experience the necessity of rechanneling our brains to perceive divine truth. From the time of infancy, our minds create set patterns of “reality” based on sensory stimuli. Breaking through those patterns to embrace the divine requires our minds to be open, like the minds of little children. Let the meditation guide you through the journey of letting Christ and Sophia take a path of thought outside the limits of mortal thinking towards perceiving the reality of divine Light.
Our Sunday Services include several different practices that bring us closer to the Divine. It's fine to come for the one you are most interested in or to come right at 9:30 and stay until 1:00. The normal schedule is as follows:
9:30 Participating in Gnostic songs with Zedek and his guitar. These songs are recorded as Zedek has recently passed. They relate to the theme of our metaphysical class and guided meditation.
9:45 Metaphysical lecture and discussion lead by a teacher of Gnosis. This week's topic is "Transcending Mortal Existence."
10:30 Yoga practices designed to prepare us for meditation
11:15 Guided Meditation and Discussion.
12:00- 12:45 Creation of icons and sharing of Icons
