Summer Picnic Party with Croquet & Outdoor Games

By popular request, following great vibes and attendances in previous years, we are holding another picnic party this year.

Where Are We?
We'll assemble in Sutton Park for an afternoon of Outdoor Games, general mingling, and picnic, We'll meet on the grassy area near the visitors centre just through Sutton Coldfield Town Gate, which is in easy reach of the Train Station, and cars can be parked adjacent inside the park.

The Games
We bring a variety of outdoor games such as Frisbee, Kubb, Velcroball, Quoits and Rounders. And please feel free to bring similar ctivities yourself! Most popular usually however is CROQUET, and we have 2-3 sets. If you haven't played Croquet before, we can provide full instruction on both rules and tactics. In fact, you'll quickly become hooked on this very lively and addictive game.

Accompanying You
Please feel free to bring along food and drinks (and fold-up chairs) so that we can also have a picnic while we play and mingle. Hopefully this will be sunshine season. Whilst children and family members are very welcome at this event, dogs are not (sorry) for a number of reasons, but mainly the food and the balls! No BBQs either, sorry.

MEETING POINT
Meet on the grassy area by Visitors Centre just inside TOWN GATE (B73 6BU), at 12:30. This is only 5 mins walk from the train station, and 2 mins from Town Gate, on the left near where Wyndley Leisure centre is adjacent to the park. We will grab an open space of land to occupy for the games. If you are later than 12:30 you will need to look for us!

Attendance
Event suitable for 20 to 60 people. Emergency contact: 078.13.73.76.23 at 12:30 (available for prompt arrivals only), noting that Internet is not monitored during events. We ask that those who RSVP please don't no-show or withdraw in the final 24 hours, since Ghosting is against group membership terms, thank you.
