Early May bank holiday weekend by the south coast seaside, with the idyllic New Forest, with opportunities for walking, beach and swims, pub social evenings and more. Join us for another memorable time.

Location Details:
We have booked into Foxlease Park, a new camp site in the Foxlease Estate by the New Forest Town of Lyndhurst. The campsite is opposite The Crown and Stirrup pub, and only a few minutes walk into the lively town of Lyndhurst, the campsite also has it's own entertainment, services, and facilities.

Campsite Payments & Booking:
You pay directly to the campsite owners, and are encouraged to book as soon as possible via the link below, which requires £10.50 immediately and the balance on arrival. Bookings may be made for 1-4 persons per pitch, but not as part of a group, so we are all to book separately.

Sat: Afternoon walk, followed by tents-up and social evening
Walk: Rockbourne and Whitbury (Hampshire), Sat, May 3, 2025, 11:30 AM | Meetup
Sun: Local coastal Walk or New Forest Walk, followed by social evening
Walk: Hengistbury Head (near Bournemouth), Sun, May 4, 2025, 10:30 AM | Meetup
Mon: Visit to Beach near Bournemouth or New Forest Walk
Walk: Lepe Beach or Wilverley Plains (Mystery Walk), Mon, May 5, 2025, 10:30 AM | Meetup
Evenings: Default option is The Crown Stirrup Inn (opposite, on A337) though time at the campsite and in Lyndhurst centre also likely.

Some Essentials To Bring:
Personal toilet roll supply, shower-gel/soap, shower towel... beach towel, swim costume, beach-games... walking boots, day-sack, camping chair... both sun-cream and waterproofs. And of course, Tent, airbed, sleeping bag. And if cooking, kettle, pans, stove, plastic plates, cups, utensils, bin-liner, wash-up liquid, dish-sponge. We also advise fully charging your phone before setting out, as limited recharging options.

Not Allowed:
And apart from campsite rules, don't bring hard drugs, weapons, and overhead drones, these violate group rules.

3. Those wishing to avoid camping should please be situated near to Lyndhurst for spending evenings and ease of local travel. Travelodges in Ringwood, Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch are all inexpensive on Sunday night but dear on Saturday.
