Local Walk: Harlaston & Wigginton

We're back in superlative South Staffordshire for an off-road walk taking in a few countryside villages near Tamworth and hopefully some late summer sunshine. Beware of low-flying wigs in Wigginton!

Logistics:
Meet: Check-in 10:15 for prompt start as soon as all visible are ready.
Distance: Around 10 miles
Start: Outside the village church in Harlaston, post code B79 9HT, which is only a few metres from the White Lion pub.
Parking: Roadside anywhere in the village, probably along Main Street.
Terrain: Mixed rural terrain offering widespread views and only mildly undulating in a couple of places. .
Refreshments: Bring picnic lunch, and we will also have at least one public house refreshment stop opportunity.

Safety:
As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.

Places are not unlimited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is not allowed. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals).
