Heatwave Walk in Town

Details
The weather's gorgeous and I've just discovered I'm not working this Sunday, so I thought it might be an opportunity to put on one of my old walks again!
This will be a light and breezy canal walk of about 6 or 7 miles so the heatwave doesn't burn us for too long. We'll be going from the Mailbox through to Brindley and then the JQ before swinging down into Digbeth and back up to the starting point of the Mailbox.
Please note that this is a canal walk so for some stretches of it there isn't really any opportunities to stop for refreshments. Basically once we're out of the JQ and heading down to digbeth you're looking at around 3-4 miles of industrial surroundings, no bars, no cafes. We can break in the JQ and once we hit Digbeth proper though. We'll figure all this out before we set off.
Sorry this is so short notice, my life is just too busy to plan longer than a few days ahead these days. I will put a minimum RSVP limit of 6 for this event to go ahead, just to save myself the hassle of travelling into town only to walk around the cut on my own. I've got canals right by where I live - there's abandoned furniture and heroin needles floating in them, but they're still canals!
Meeting point will be the top of the big steps on the front of The Mailbox (the side that's facing the giant carriageway, see photo below). I've put 12.45pm for people to start congregating, the walk will commence around 1pm.
