Walk: Llanrwst & Gwydir Forest: Snowdonia National Park

One of two new walk routes in and around the beautiful hills and landscapes around Llanrwst and Betws-y-Coed over this late summer weekend; the Snowdonia area should need no introduction.

Option to stay over locally on Saturday night, perhaps in Llandudno (Travelodge, Premier Inn, AirB&B) or camping (e.g. Y Giler Arms) or pub Bunkhouse (e.g. Eagles Inn, Penmachno)

Logistics Summary:
Meet: 10:50 for prompt 11:00 start, from Llanrwst North Train Station, noting that a train from Llandudno arrives there for 10:50.
Distance: Around 10 Miles
Early Arrivals: there is a Spar and coffee shops in Llanrwst (town square).
Parking: Library Car Park, Station Road, LL26 0DF
Bring: Waterproofs & Refreshments & Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.

As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.

Withdrawing in the last 24 hours is impolite. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by Ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals, and uncommitted wait-listing).
