A 12mile route
To Bridgnorth over mainly flat farmland then onto Stanmore county park ( a former ww11 RAF training base) we then climb the 137 st Mary’s steps to our lunch stop on Castle hill which gives fantastic panoramic views over surrounding area , after lunch we cross back over the river Seven then climb up Jacob’s ladder ( care needed recommend poles) after ascending JL we follow a steady track along the river Worfe back to our start point
Parking free
Please be ready to start by 10-15am
Bring enough Fluids & food suitable for a full days walk
Also suitable clothing & footwear ( walking boots/ shoes recommended)
